Athletic Hall of Fame 2013

Join the Bishop Verot Athletic Hall of Fame Committee on Friday, April 12^th as Dawn Delo-O’Reilly ’99, Reggie Battle ’85, and Bo Kagan M.D. are inducted into Bishop Verot’s Athletic Hall of Fame Class of 2013. Alumni, classmates, family, and friends are invited to the induction ceremony. Tickets are $25 and are available for purchase on our website at www.BVHS.org/HOF.

Mike Gill Honored
A special day here at Verot last week as we celebrated the Feast of St. Joseph, we also celebrated our very own carpenter extraordinaire, Mike Gill. Mike graduated from Bishop Verot in 1968 and returned to the school to teach in 1972. Through his 40+ years, Mike has held every position imaginable at the school. Today, we celebrate his service to the Bishop Verot community. What is your favorite Mike Gill story or saying?

VikingFest 2013


Our sincere thanks to all the alumni who came out and joined us for four days of BBQ and Carnival Rides at Bishop Verot's 2nd Annual VikingFest. The event was a qualifier for barbequers to attend the World Food Championships in Las Vegas later this year.

Over three dozen alumni assisted by working the Alumni Association Beer Tent, Texas Hold'em Tournament, Security, Ticket Booths, Medical Tent, and more. If you would like more information on being involved with Bishop Verot's Alumni Association, contact Marie Mengle at mtmengle@comcast.net.

Wizard of Oz at SFX
The legendary St. Francis Xavier musicals will return to SFX this spring with The Wizard of Oz, directed by Bishop Verot alumna, Lisa Stevens '07. Catch a performance in the Father Thomas Anglim Gymnasium.
